Plot W03 is a new, mixed-use development forming part of the 85-acre mixed-use regeneration of Wembley Park, led by developer, Quintain. The scheme, due to complete summer 2019, comprises a 10-storey and 15-storey block, providing approximately 320,000 sq ft of prime residential and retail space, with 340 new apartments and retail outlets located at ground level.
The scheme is adjacent to Plot W06, another McLaren project at Wembley Park, comprising a nine-storey commercial office building and a 150 build-to-rent apartment block of 11 storeys. Close to the pedestrian entrance to Wembley Stadium, it is a critical gateway project for the regeneration masterplan for the local area.
The project team has met several complex logistical and interface challenges, given the proximity of the project to both Wembley Stadium and The SSE Arena, Wembley. For example, the construction programme incorporates match days and Arena events.
The initial package of works has included extensive site investigations, statutory services co-ordination and the diversion of a primary Wembley Estates road to make way for the substructure works.
Environmental initiatives have included the use of grey water harvesting to help dampen down dust and other materials on site.
McLaren is committed to delivering both community and educational benefits to the Brent community. To date, the two sites (W03 & W06) have taken on 12 apprentices from Brent and the neighbouring boroughs, and 147 people who live in Brent are employed across both developments. Two of the apprentices were nominated recently for the Pride of Brent Awards for their outstanding efforts during their apprenticeships.
In addition, Brent Council, Quintain and all four contractors working on the Wembley Park framework received an award at the Place West London Awards for Employment.

Quintain Limited and associated companies have obtained a High Court injunction preventing unauthorised access into buildings and building sites at our Wembley Park development.
This follows a number of incidents where individuals placed themselves and others in danger.
